Robert Downey Jr Bust

robert downey jr bust..still a work in progress..still working on the hair and further detailing on the face..thought of trying out the messy hair look as in sherlock holmes...base mesh made in maya..further detailing in zbrush as always..more to come..probably a textured one soon when im happy with the sculpting..and also a better render probably 
Got some feedback from people.Studied the references in more detail and this is what I was able to achieve.Sculpted the hair again too.Happy with the way its turned out.

Experimental sculpts for character designing

Had an idea for a character sculpt since quite sometime.So did some quick head studies to decide upon the possible designs.Instead of trying out sketching the designs, thought of doing the pre-visualization directly in 3d after doing some very rough sketches.All these were really quick sculpts so havn't gotten into detailing them much..




 Was confused whether to keep the anatomy realistic or more on the caricatured side..so tried both..
 

Human Male Sculpt (Maya and Zbrush Pipeline)


  A human male sculpt I worked on for my portfolio. The base mesh was made in Maya, and further detailing done in Zbrush.I have also extracted the normal map already and finished with getting a low poly version of the model back to Maya.Still need to work on the texturing for this.
