These were done as part of an assignment for Indian art. It was a good experience trying to design something which needed to be specific to India and its culture as far as design was concerned. I made few sketches based on Indian stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata. Virgin Comics' 'Ramayana' was a huge source of inspiration to start off this assignment though the works displayed here are nowhere close to the quality of the sketches in the comic book. I just hope to create something like that at some point in the future.. :D
